Heirloom Original Oil Paintings Cecilia Brendel was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She studied art at Indiana University South Bend and graduated with an Associates degree in Graphic Arts from Ivy Tech State College in South Bend, Indiana, in 1982. Her experience as an artist includes technical illustrating at the University of Notre Dame, Florida Institute of Technology, Wright State University, McGraw-Hill Publishing, Holiday Rambler, and Harley-Davidson. Cecilia has designed book covers for American Book Publishers and GMA Publishing. Illustrated children's books, CD covers, poster designs, and other technical projects.
